ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author Anton Sebastian is an avid historian and has a personal library of over 5000 rare and antiquarian Books, some dating back to the 16th Century. A considerable portion of his collection relates to Ceylon (Sri Lanka). This book is a culmination of his research on Sri Lanka for over six years. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a Consultant in the National Health Service, UK. He has published several internationally acclaimed books on the history of science and medicine, and is a recipient of the British Medical Association Book Award.
